Constant and Conversion

Model : CASIO  fx-991MS
Often we use different constants such as Plank Constant ( h = 6.63*10-34 Js ), Mass of Electron ( me=9.11*10-31 kg) etc in calculation. It is difficult to keep in mind such values all the time. Calculator has kept stored such constant values in it's memory.

Example: What are the values of Plank Constant and Charge of an Electron ?(Ans: h=6.63*10-34 Js and e=1.6*10-19 C )

Solution:

(Plank Constant)
CONST >> 0 >> 6 >> =

(Charge of an Electron)
CONST >> 2 >> 3 >> =

In the back cover of calculator there is a list of  constant from 01-40.

To convert from one unit to another (such as atm->Pa ) with calculator is very easy.

Example: Convert 36 km/h into m/s. ( Ans:10 m/s)

Solution:

3 >> 6 >> SHIFT >> CONST >> 1 >> 9 >> =

In the back cover of calculator there is also a list of conversion from 01-40.
